A working group has been formed to resolve the dispute over the bubble area of Solukhumbu and Okhaldhunga, where there has been a border dispute for a long time. The inter-district security coordination meeting held at the meeting of security committee officials of the two districts on Saturday took this joint decision.

It is disputed whether the area belongs to Khijidemba Rural Municipality of Okhaldhunga or Solududhakunda Municipality of Solu.
Solukhumbu chief district officer Anoj Kumar Ghimire said that the meeting has formed a committee to study the documents of the property and surveyor's offices of both districts and submit a report within 15 days. In the committee, assistant chief district officer of Okhaldhunga Gomadevi Dhakal (Paudel) coordinator, chief member of Solu and Okhandunga malpot and surveyor office and deputy of district administration Subba Suman Karki member secretary.
Chief District Officer of Okhaldhunga Vijayraj Subedi has come to Solukhumbu headquarters Salleri with a team of the district's security committee under his leadership. Nepali Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police and Head of National Investigation were present in the meeting. The meeting has decided to take necessary initiatives for the smooth operation of highways that touch both districts during the rainy season and to create a joint strategy for peace and security and crime control.
Solukhumbu Chief District Officer Ghimire said that it has been decided to correspond with the relevant agencies to put reflectors on the road to reduce road accidents.
