Under the Koshi Highway, the road blocked by the Leuti River at the foothills of Sangurigarhi Rural Municipality-6 of Dhankuta has been open for one-way operation since 6:30 on Saturday evening. Chief District Officer Tubraj Pokhrel informed that the road has been opened by making a temporary diversion at that place. He said that since the flood was receding, the driver's station was built at the place where the river flowed.
1 of the road department to open the road and 3 other excavators have been used. The police said that the vehicle was brought back to the bank of the Leuti river and brought into operation through a temporary diversion.
At least 3/3 km of traffic has been stopped in both directions due to road blockage. The police and the army have taken the stranded passengers on foot through alternative routes since noon.
