A mother and daughter from Chainpur of Sankhuwasabha have been found dead. 42-year-old Sita Khanal, wife of Krishna Prasad Trital of Chainpur Municipality-11 Luhakot, and her 72-day-old daughter were found dead in their house on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the police, DSP Daksh Kumar Basnet said that the mother and daughter were found dead in the bedroom of the house around 1 pm on Wednesday.

The police said that the cause of their death could not be revealed. The police have started an investigation into the incident.
