Saemkumar Tamang has been arrested on the charge of raping a 17-year-old girl in Sankhuwasabha.
DSP Daksh Kumar Basnet said that 21-year-old Somkumar Tamang of Panchkhapan Municipality-1 Kusuwa was arrested.
Tamang was arrested on the basis of a complaint that he forced Lalife to marry her, he said. Police Inspector Abhishek Kumar Shrestha of the District Police Office said that an investigation is being conducted against him after obtaining an extension from the Sankhuwasabha District Court, Chainpur.
