The motorable bridge at Sawakhola, which connects Khotehang and Jantedhunga Rural Municipality in the southern region of the district, has been inaugurated. Sawakhola bridge connecting Jantedhunga-5 Chisapani and Khotehang-7 Khotangbazar was inaugurated by Koshi Province Physical Infrastructure Development and Health Minister Bhupendra Rai on Saturday.
Suchan Aditya Vijay Nirman Seva had signed an agreement on 11th Baisakh 2080 to complete the construction by 10th Baisakh 2082 at a cost of 8 crore three lakh 78 thousand 715 rupees. The bridge is 41.4 meters long. After the construction of the bridge, the residents of Jantedhunga and Barahapokhari rural villages have been connected directly to the headquarters Diktel.
At the inauguration, Minister Rai said that the former representatives spoke more than they did. Rai claimed that no matter what the previous people's representatives did, the future people's representatives are not allowed to not work. Rai also urged that those who act should be chosen rather than those who talk. "No matter what the previous people's representatives did, the future people's representatives should do more than talk," Rai said, "because the people choose those who act rather than those who speak, there is no excuse for the future people's representatives not to work."
