In Khandbari Municipality-9 Tumlingtar of Sankhuwasabha, three people have been sent to jail for the murder of a 72-year-old man.

72-year-old Meen Bahadur Kumal was strangled to death on Baisakh 14 on the plan of his own daughter-in-law. The accused was sent to jail on Friday by order of the District Court Sankhuwasabha.

The 45-year-old daughter-in-law has been sent to the district jail, Khandbari, on the charge of murder. Two other 17-year-old youths involved in the murder of the elderly have been sent to the Biratnagar Children's Correctional Home. 

Similarly, the 13-year-old girl who was arrested on charges of murder has been handed over to her parents.
