9 people were injured when a Bolero vehicle crashed in Meringden Rural Municipality. Two have been referred to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan and one to Panchthar Hospital. A Bolero accident occurred at Sakfara in Meringden rural municipality 3 Khamlung.
The injured are Sange Sherpa of Meringden Rural Municipality-6, 17-year-old Dawa Sherpa, 68-year-old Bhimkumar Kedem, 24-year-old Anjana Sherpa, 26-year-old Chunu Mabo Limbu, 17-year-old Davachungda Sherpa, 23-year-old Furlamu Sherpa and 51-year-old Guba Sherpa, District Police Office Taplejung Deputy Inspector Prasad Gautam informed.
All the injured were brought to District Hospital Taplejung for treatment. J1 Ch 1317 bolero car coming from Nalbu of Meringden Rural Municipality to the headquarters Fungling met with an accident at 10:30 in the morning, Village Chairman Uk Han Bir Hongam (Damber) informed. The police said that the preliminary information about the accident due to brake failure was received and the investigation has started.
