After a decade, Tarun Dal session started, Falgunand Ghimire became the chairman of rural municipality

Nepal Tarun Dal, an organized organization of the Nepali Congress youth, has started its ward and municipal sessions after almost a decade. Tarun Dal, which has completed the ward convention of more than 40 out of 60 wards in 8 local levels of Panchthar district, has also completed the municipal convention of Falgunand on Monday.

From the convention, Tarun Dal has unanimously elected a 27-member working committee headed by Gopal Ghimire as the chairman of Phalgunand Rural Municipality.  Aindra Phuyal and Archana Nemwang have been elected as vice presidents of the

committee, Roshan Rizal and Dipendra Nemwang as secretaries, Deukumar Angdemwe and Sesehang Chemjong as joint secretaries and Amar Nemwang as treasurer. 

Similarly, Tarun Dal Panchthar has informed that 9 district representatives have been elected. The opening of the

convention was inaugurated by Bhishmaraj Angdemwe, the Central Joint Minister of Nepali Congress from the seat of the chief guest. Addressing the program, the chief guest, Angdembe, said that the leadership of the brother and sister organizations of the Congress, including the Tarun Dal, is being jammed due to the absence of a convention for a long time, and the party leadership should be ready to hold a convention of all organizations now. In the

session, the presidents and representatives of fraternal and benevolent organizations along with congress leaders including Congress district president Rupnarayan Zawegu, outgoing president Narendra Kumar Kerung addressed.
