25-year-old Zubair Alam Mian of Sunsari Haringara Rural Municipality-1 has been arrested for committing an electronic crime by posting obscene photos and videos on TikTok. He had posted obscene photos and videos of a girl from Sankhuwasabha on Tiktok on May 25.
The girl filed a complaint at Sankhuwasabha police office on May 29. Sankhuwasabha police inspector Abhishek Shrestha said that Alam was arrested in coordination with the local police office Ethari Sunsari.
Sunsari was found and taken into custody in Ethari sub-metropolitan city-6. The arrested Mian has been remanded from Sankhuwasabha District Court on Thursday for further investigation.
