31-year-old Nirmala Tamang died due to lightning in Sankhuwasabha Chainpur Municipality-8 Manedanda.
Nirmala, who was injured in a sudden lightning strike with rain while she was sitting in the house of local Lok Bahadur Tamang, died on Wednesday evening at Basic Hospital Chainpur during treatment. Acting Police Chief Abhishek Shrestha said that the condition of the other 3 people who were injured by lightning is normal.
Prateek Tamang, Kalpana Tamang, Rijan Tamang were injured by lightning. Police said that the other injured are being treated at Chainpur Basic Hospital.
