20-year-old Sundar Saru Magar, a resident of Panchthar Fidim Municipality-9, who went to the forest with a friend carrying a Panchthar Bharuwa gun, died. At 11:30 on Tuesday night, Saru, who had gone to the forest of Falgunand-1 with a loaded gun along with local Man Bahadur Sambahamfe, died when the gun hit him in the stomach.

As soon as the news was received that the gun fell in the forest and he was injured, the police team deployed from the police station Navamidanda rescued Saru and brought him to the hospital. The doctor declared him dead. Rupesh Tamang, Information Officer (Police Inspector) of District Police Office Panchthar informed that 33-year-old Sambahamfe, who went to the forest with a gun, was arrested on Wednesday with a loaded gun and an investigation was started.

According to him, for what purpose they had gone to the forest with guns, it has not been revealed.
