In Ratuwamai Municipality-3 Mircha Dagi of Morang, two women were electrocuted when a bamboo on which a microphone was placed fell down, while one was slightly injured.

According to the police, the incident took place due to a sudden windstorm at around 8:20 p.m. on Tuesday in the house where the microphone was tied for the wedding ceremony of Mangallal Singh's son Niraj Kumar Singh.

Suryadevi Gangai, 73 years old wife of neighbor Satarulal Gangai and Ramudevi Gangai, 70 years old wife of Jatarulal Gangai were seriously injured and taken to Rangeli Hospital for treatment.

In the same way, Radhakumari Singh also got minor electrocution injuries in the incident. It is said that he was brought to City Hospital Jhurkia and discharged after general treatment. After the incident, a police team was deployed from the area police station Mahadeva and Sijuwa of IPR. The police said that further investigation is going on regarding the incident.
