Eight passengers were injured in a jeep accident at 10 o'clock Sunday night on the Tamor Corridor road section of Sangurigarhi Rural Municipality-3 Kusetar.
According to the police, the jeep number 1 J 2655 coming from Taplejung towards Dhankuta went out of control and fell about 10 feet from the culvert and the accident occurred.
Among the injured are Namkala Phuyal, 45, Jayeshwar Pokharel, 47, Isu Pangeni, 38, and Nikita Phuyal, 22. Similarly, Jayeshwar's son 16 Shirish Pokharel, 46 Savitri Adhikari of Chitwan, 52 Dipchandra Ghimire, 45 Navaraj Phuyal.
The injured are being treated at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan.
