The Moolghat-Chimsuwa road, which was blocked since Sunday due to heavy rains and landslides, has been operational since noon today.
Located in Dhankuta-9 Nepal Police and Armed Police were deployed at that location since morning with excavators. Inspector Tek Bahadur Katuwal of the Armed Police at Mulghat informed that the road opening was easy as the rain had stopped.
After the closure of the section from Dhankuta Municipality-9 to Triveni connecting Bhojpur and Udaipur, the life of that area was affected. At a place called Sirsire, the road was blocked due to a landslide. District Police Spokesperson Omprakash Khanal said that the road has been opened for vehicles and transport to Bhojpur and Udaipur via Chimsuwa, Saptingtar, Gopalpur, Ghangru, Triveni.
