A tractor was washed away near Dhankuta Municipality-9 Moolghat on Sunday night due to heavy rains. According to the police, the tractor number 2 or 3942, which was parked on the bank of Bishranti Khare river, was swept away by the flood at night. The tractor has moved about 50 meters.
District Police Spokesperson DSP Omprakash Khanal informed that the team deployed from Mulghat Police Station, with the help of JCB, pulled out from the flood in the night and kept it in a safe place.
Similarly, the transport and transportation means have been blocked due to the landslide that occurred along with the rain on the Moolghat-Triveni inner road section in Dhankuta-9 Chimchuwa. The police said that four tippers were trapped in the landslide at that place.
Police spokesperson Khanal said that the landslide removal work will start from Monday morning. He said that landslides including Ledo also occurred at other 2 places on the said road.
