A 20-year-old youth died while using electricity to fish in the river. According to District Police Office Panchthar, the deceased is Isara Thegim, son of Dilkumar Thegim, a resident of Miklajung rural municipality-6 Lumangdin.
Rupesh Tamang, Information Officer (Police Inspector) of District Police Office Panchthar informed that the person who died on Sunday was electrocuted by running a generator in the Nawa river of Miklajung-6 in Thegim.
According to Tamang, after receiving information about the incident, the police team deployed from the area police station Khandrong pulled Thegim's body from the river. Thegim's body was brought to Ravi Primary Health Center for post-mortem on Sunday.
