In 2056, Kazi Rai moved to the Gulf countries for foreign employment after failing to get a name in the Teachers Service Commission. After working in the same company for 22 years in the heat of Qatar, he returned to Nepal in 2078, but one thing kept bothering him, that is formal education. Because even though he passed the written exam of the Commission, he failed many times in Maukhim.

"When I was in Qatar, I faced a lot of problems because of the language and the laws there," says the 56-year-old.

He was born in Nigalbas of Khotang in 2026 and passed SLC in 1st class in 2047. There was no campus to study higher education in the village. He did not even get the opportunity to study in the city due to the poor financial condition of the family. Although he did not get as much formal education as he wanted, he migrated to Chaudandigarhi Municipality-7 Beltar with his family in 2060 to make the educational future of his sons brighter.

He doesn't want to remember the pain he had to suffer when he was working abroad because he didn't understand the laws and the language. "If I had had the opportunity to get continuous higher education in time, I would have stayed in the country and done something, I would have joined the government service and served the people, but it didn't happen as I said, I couldn't study," he remembered the past.

He also worked as a temporary teacher for some time but his goal was to become a permanent teacher after passing the commission. 'But studies didn't help me, I couldn't pass the commission,' he says, 'I was forced to go abroad.'

When he returned to Nepal after spending a long time in foreign employment, he enrolled in Kalika Secondary School in Chaudandigarhi Municipality-6. He says that he joined the law faculty after consulting with his family to understand the country's constitution and rules and laws.

Now he is giving his class 12 exam and he has become an example that age does not affect education . "Now I'm getting old, but I still want to become an example by passing higher education," he said, "that's why I passed the class 12 exam." Even though it is time to play grandson/grandson, he is now taking his class 12 exam at Thanpokhri Mavi Jamire located in Chaudandigarhi municipality-9 due to his love for education . He married in 2048 and has two sons.

He also runs a tempo along with his agricultural profession . Different types of vegetables planted in the curry farm are consumed in Beltar market.

Dinesh Khadka, president of the examination center, said that he was surprised to see his passion for studying and his energy in the exam. "Even at the age of 56, I am surprised to see such interest and passion for education, he has become a source of inspiration for everyone," said Khadka, the president of the center.
