39-year-old Vikash Rai of Aiselukhark rural municipality-7 of CPI(M) died due to electric shock. He died on Tuesday evening when he was electrocuted while connecting a fuse to an electric pole in the garden.
According to Sushant Mishra, Information Officer of District Police Office Khotang, he died on the spot after being electrocuted at 7:20 pm.
Mishra said that the postmortem was conducted at the primary health center in Aiselukhark on Wednesday.
