One person was killed and another was injured in a vehicle accident in Chaudandigarhi Municipality-4 Varadaanda of Madan Bhandari Highway in Udaipur.
Geeta Pariyar of Halesi Tuwachung Municipality-4 died on Monday evening when the passengers of bus No. 1 B 4721 going to Itahari with people from Khotang were crossing the road when they were hit by the tractor No. 3 or No. 810 coming from the same direction.
Periyar, who was seriously injured in the accident, was taken to City Hospital Beltar for treatment and died during treatment, said SP Hariharnath Yogi of District Police Office, Udaipur. 23-year-old Yujan Rai of Itahari sub-metropolitan city-20 Sunsari was injured in the accident.
Injured Rai was treated at City Hospital Beltar and sent to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Ghopa for further treatment, police said.
