State Police Office Koshi has constituted an investigation committee to investigate Police Inspector Rajan Lamsal, Chief of District Traffic Police Office Morang and Police Inspector Rajan Lamsal, after being accused of beating up two Police Inspectors in Batchi.

After the beating incident came to the surface, the provincial police office, Koshi, started an investigation. The office formed an inquiry committee under the coordination of DSP Dumbar Puri. Provincial Police Spokesperson Senior Superintendent of Police Bhim Dahal said. He claimed that there was no incident as it was publicized on social media. "The committee is investigating, the reality will come out soon," said spokesperson Dahal.

Lamsal was accused of beating police inspectors Saroj Khanal and Santosh Khadka.

Lamsal said that the topic of his not going to the party was being tried to go 'viral' in a contrived manner. ' I didn't go to the farewell party of Koshi Pradesh Police Chief DIG Rajan Adhikari on the 11th of Baisakh due to illness,' he told , 'Someone is behind me.'

He denied that Lamsal, who came drunk from the restaurant, called Khadka and Khanal to their residence at night and initially abused them by calling them 'DIG's spoon' and when the dispute escalated, he went away. Where should a sick person go to a restaurant? "I had to tell you which restaurant I went to, how long I stayed drinking," he said.
