A memorandum to the Chief Minister with 17 points of demand related to people's livelihood by the United Samajwadi Party

The CPN (Unified Socialist) Koshi State Committee has submitted a 17-point memorandum to Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki on Sunday, drawing the attention of the state government to various issues of public livelihood.

The delegation led by the state committee chairperson Sarita Khadka handed over the gift memorandum to the chief minister on Friday. In the memorandum, it has been requested to pay attention to issues that can be implemented immediately and also to long-term planning.

Chief Minister Karki understood the memorandum and expressed his commitment that the state government will fulfill the possible demands immediately and other demands will be implemented gradually. Former Chief Minister and senior leader of the party, Rajendra Kumar Rai, who participated in the program, opined that the present time is a sensitive stage for the state government to make policies, programs and budgets, so it is a suitable opportunity to address the demands of the party.

Rai asked the government to show seriousness in their implementation as the demands presented to the government are directly related to the people's living standards.

The memorandum covers topics such as implementation of federalism, development of agriculture and industry, job creation, health and education reform, social justice, tourism promotion, inclusive planning, transparency, and coordination with local government.
