During the last two years, Ram Prasad Acharya, Bhaktivilash Acharya, Bajra Bahadur Rai, Tank Acharya, Jagat Bahadur Raut, Kaziman Magar, Dibyraj Khadka, Tika Bahadur Dulal, Karna Bahadur Vishwakarma, Khambasin Vishwakarma, Jeet Bahadur Vishwakarma, Mani Rai, Bhuvansin Bishta, Bhuvan Raut, Hari Raut and others of Jantedhunga Rural Municipality-6 Diplung left the village. have migrated .

Similarly, Gopal Pariyar, Keshar Pariyar, Santosh Pariyar, Kapurman Pariyar, Sita Nepali, Padam Bahadur Pariyar, Tilak Bahadur Pariyar, Karna Bahadur Pariyar, Shambhu Pariyar, Padam Bahadur Tamang, Saila Lama and others have also migrated and left the village, according to local Virbal Kirati. 

Kirati says that others are also preparing to migrate. Kirati has told that Kalyan Raut of Diplung is also preparing to move to Terai on the 22nd of Baisakh. Kirati stated that they migrated due to education, health, drinking water, monkey terror etc. . 

Kirati has stated that some of them enter the city for more facilities due to prosperity. In the last five years, 343 families have migrated to that municipality, said Vivas Rai of Panjikaran branch of the rural municipality.

The number of people migrating to Barahapokhari village is also the same. Barahapokhari Rural Municipality-1 Kumar Nepali, Durga Nepali, Tilak Bahadur Nepali, Lal Bahadur Raut, Tika Raut, Gopal Bishta and others from Barahapokhari Nigale have migrated. Although the number of people migrating to the municipality is large, there is no unified information, said Shalikram Banjara, chairman of the rural municipality.

Information Officer Roshan Poudel has said that 3,550 people from 1,56 families have migrated to Khotehang Rural Municipality in a period of five years. Similarly, Yaman Shrestha of Panjikaran Branch has said that 2,093 people from 661 families migrated to Diprung Chuichumma Rural Municipality during five years.

Similarly, Sridevi Rai of the Panjikaran branch said that 1,866 families have migrated to Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality in a period of five years. Navina Rai of Panjikaran Branch said that 1,644 people from 521 families migrated to Halesi Tuwachung Municipality in five years. 

Giriraj Magar of Panjikaran Branch has said that 1,743 people of 543 families have migrated to Rawabesi Rural Municipality in five years . Similarly, Nimraj Tamang of Panjikaran Branch said that 1,492 people from 453 families migrated to Aisekhalukhark Rural Municipality in a period of five years. 

Prakash Rimal of the Panjikaran Branch said that 1,700 people migrated to Kepilasgarhi Rural Municipality in a period of five years. The rural municipality has informed that the number of migrants is also large in Sakela rural municipality.

As the number of people migrating to the district is increasing every year, San Bahadur Rai, the head of the district coordination committee Khotang, said that the entire state, including the local level, the state and the federal government, should be involved in reducing it .

"Villages are becoming empty due to migration every year," Rai said, "only the local level cannot reduce it, the state and federal governments will also have to step in."
