The Khoksekhola road section of the Mechi highway, which was blocked due to landslides, has been put into operation after two hours. According to Kshitij Sunuwar, Ward President of Fungling Municipality-8, a landslide occurred on Thursday night on Baisakhe in Khoksekhola.

Sunuwar said that the road was opened using the excavator of the road division office.

The road has been blocked many times before at this place. Hundreds of vehicles carrying passengers from Jhapa, Ilam, Sunsari were stuck when it took time to remove the landslide.
