Armed Police Women's Association has distributed free clothes to the students of Belbari community school in Morang who are in poor financial condition.
Koshi Province Armed Police Women's Association has distributed 90 pairs of clothes to the students from infant class to class 5 at Sinha Devi Basic School located in Belbari Municipality-2 of Morang on Friday.
In the presence of Anu Subedi Ghimire, president of Koshi Pradesh Armed Police Family Women's Association, uniforms were handed over to school principal Dhruv Kumar Dahal and school management committee chairman Uddhav Prasad Dangal, said DSP Shailendra Thapa, co-spokesperson of armed police. Krishna Bahadur Gurung, Chairman of Municipal Ward No. 2 , Officials of Provincial Armed Police Family Women's Association, Armed Police Force, Ganpati Armed Police Superintendent Rajesh Ghimire of Nepal No. 3 Kankalini Gana Morang, DSP Kamal Bahadur Adhikari of Gulm, Armed Police Highway Security, security officers, women's association officials, public representatives, teachers and locals participated in the
event.
After handing over the uniforms, Armed Police Family Women's Association, Koshi Province President Ghimire said that the Armed Police is working in the same way at the community level for social work and it is a matter of happiness to give uniforms to students who are in poor financial condition as part of the community-oriented program.
After handing over the uniforms, the principal of the school, Dahal, said that most of the underprivileged and marginalized students studying in the said community school are studying in poor financial conditions and the support from Armed Police Family Women's Association is important. He said that this cooperation showed the dedication of the armed police to the defense of the common citizens and the country's borders, as well as to the needy and helpless citizens and various welfare services.
