District Administration Office Udaipur has destroyed expired non-edible items during monitoring. For the first time, the administration, which usually monitors only during Dasaintihar, found expired non-food items in the market monitoring conducted at different times.

During market monitoring in Udaipur's second largest commercial center Katari on Wednesday, expired food and beverages such as spices, sauces, Fenta, Mirinda were destroyed. 

Area Administration Office Katari Officer Dilli Magrati coordinated by District Administration Office, Domestic and Small Industries, National Investigation, Area Police Office Katari, Armed Police Base Camp Belsot, Katari Municipality, Food and Quality Control Office representatives monitored the market . 

According to Magrati, coordinator of the monitoring team, 3 shops selling expired non-food items were fined 12,000 for the first time through the Taxpayer Service Office during the inspection conducted in Katari Municipality-3 and 4 market area. 

Stating that the market will be monitored regularly from now on, Officer Magrati asked the traders not to sell expired and inedible items. He asked the consumers to buy the material only by looking at the deadline and price list. During the monitoring, whether the business was registered in the municipality, whether the registration was renewed/not, whether the price list was kept/not kept, whether the necessary documents were/were also inspected .

Citizens of Udaipur's Katari Municipality including Tapli, Limchungbung, Udaipurgarhi Village, Khotang, Okhaldhunga, Sindhuli and other districts buy daily consumables from Katari market.
