Police have arrested one person involved in vandalizing a hotel in Simsuwa, Sangurigarhi rural municipality-6. 35-year-old local Abhishek Shrestha has been arrested.

Sangurigarhi Rural Municipality-6, Namaste Jharna resident Sujan Rai broke the windows and doors of the hotel on Tuesday. 

District Police Spokesperson DSP Omprakash Khanal said that Shrestha was detained by a police team deployed from the local police office, Bhedetar. It is said that an investigation is being conducted against Shrestha for criminal nuisance. 

In the preliminary investigation, it has been revealed that Shrestha had consumed alcoholic beverages on loan at the hotel at various times and vandalized the money based on the receipt requested by the manager.
