16 teachers of Atharai Triveni rural municipality walked to the capital on Tuesday when the local level is pressing to open the school and there is an effort to reach an agreement between the government and the teachers.

Apart from the three people from Durga Secondary School, Phulbari, the staff and teachers of the office assistant, child development and accounting branch also left by reserving the vehicle.

Before leaving school, 19 people decided to participate in the protest. On the 15th of Baisakh, the headmaster of the school, Kul Prasad Bhattarai, decided to go on a protest.

The teachers are going to board the car and have also posted their decision on the 15th on social media. In their post, Lekhnath Bhattarai, the personal secretary of the rural municipality president, responded by saying, "An agreement is being reached today, will they return after reaching Ilam?"

Tekindra Sendang, the coordinator of the rural municipality social development committee and the chairman of the same ward number 2, said, 'Why is this a stunt, sirs? It is understood to be the last attempt to reach an agreement. He responded that if he had gone, he would have gone earlier.

Principal Kul Prasad informed that three people could not go due to small children and health conditions and the rest were walking in the movement. He said on the telephone that he will not return under any circumstances until the movement reaches a decision. Sidingwa Rural Municipality of the district has warned that if teachers do not return to school and conduct classes, action will be taken according to the Local Education Act.
