Officials of the School Management Committee in Mahalakshmi Municipality of Dhankuta have demanded that the school be run regularly due to the academic agitation.
Officials of the management committee of 15 schools issued a joint statement and demanded to open the school from Tuesday. Indicating that parents are very concerned and sensitive about their children's education, students and teachers have been called to ensure the right of students to read and write by conducting educational activities from Tuesday.
Since March 20, due to the Kathmandu Central Teachers' Movement, educational activities have been at a standstill. It has been mentioned in the statement that there is solidarity of the parents towards the movement and since there is no immediate solution, the activities of the movement will be carried out by conducting teaching. Teachers have been asked to participate in the movement only at the rate of one per school in the city.
Maniraj Lungeli, Chairman of Janata Secondary School Management Committee located in Mahalakshmi Municipality-7, said that they are worried because the teaching has stopped for a long time.
