A house has been burnt down in Rautamai rural municipality-5 Dhukurchung of Udaipur due to lightning that accompanied the rain. The house of local Chakrabahaddur Rai was damaged by lightning at 4 o'clock in the morning on Saturday.
DSP Kedarman Dong, information officer of the district police office, said that when the 2-storey house made of rye stone and zinc leaf caught fire due to the lightning that came with the wind, the food, clothes, furniture and wood inside the house were burnt.
According to him, the goat cage, pig cage and 1 pig in the cage were also destroyed due to the fire. After the house was destroyed by fire, the police said that the fire was brought under control at 5 am.
