17 buffaloes have died due to lightning in Lopatal of Makalu rural municipality-3 of Sankhuwasabha. Ramkumar Lamichhane, police inspector of the district police office, said that a buffalo that had been taken to the forest to graze in the Kalopatal area of Makalu-3 died due to lightning that accompanied the rain.
According to him, Pushpalal Bhandari and Premprasad Bhandari's buffaloes of Makalu-3 have died. In the incident, more than 10 lakh rupees have been damaged. After getting the information about the incident, the team of Hedangnagari Police Office has reached the spot today. The place of the incident is at a walking distance of 35 km from the local police office Hedangnagari .
