The wind that has been blowing since Sunday afternoon has blown off the roofs of houses in Taplejung and the electricity service has been interrupted. The electricity was cut off due to a fallen tree hitting a power line.
Ward President Santosh Limbu informed that the wind blew the roof of Man Bahadur Limbu's house in Fungling Municipality-10 Furumbu. Ward President Kshitij Sunuwar informed that the roof of Jas Bahadur Vishwakarma's matan was blown in Ward No. 8 Dokhu.
In the capital, Fungling, open shops and those who have closed doors have also been affected. The pattern of wind continues till the evening.
