This year, the armies of Nepal and India will jointly climb Kanchenjunga, the third highest mountain in the world. It is mentioned that 10 people from the Indian Army and 13 people from the Nepali Army will participate in the climb from the end of Baisakh to the second week of the senior year.

The 23-member climbing team has been exempted from the salutation customs required while climbing.

Minister of Communications Prithvisubba Gurung said that the cabinet meeting on Monday decided to exempt the salami customs. The custom has been waived on the recommendation of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation. It is mentioned that there is a program of mountain climbing under the United India Nepal Kanchenjunga Himal Climbing Program.

Citizens of other countries have started arriving at the base camp to climb this 8,586-meter mountain, while the necessary materials for climbing have been delivered to the base camp.
