A man has died due to lightning. 55-year-old Ganga Prasad Dhakal of Diktel Rupakot Mazhuwagadhi Municipality-8 Bualung Nastum died on Thursday afternoon.
Ward president Leela Chauhan said Dhakal died when lightning struck around 1 pm while he was working in the seedbed near his home.
Police inspector Mohan Pokharel, spokesperson of District Police Office Khotang, has said that detailed information will be available after the police reach the scene.
