Two people were injured due to lightning in Champadevi rural municipality-9 Dallidanda. Today, two people were injured while having lunch at a hotel in Hari Tamang due to a lightning strike.
Police inspector Vijay Karki informed that 31-year-old Chutra Bahadur tailor of Champadevi-8 Vilandu and 16-year-old Savina Lakh, daughter of Ganesh Lakh, resident of the old village there, were injured. The injured were immediately rescued and sent to the nearest health post for treatment.
A few other locals and players were also injured by a lightning strike near the place where the municipal level President Running Shield competition of Champadevi Rural Municipality is being conducted.
