The body of a woman was found in Sangurigarhi Rural Municipality of Dhankuta. A dead body of a woman was found in Ghumti river located in Sangurigarhi-10.
The police said that the identity of the body could not be revealed. Considering the nature of the incident, the police believe that the death may have been due to a fall. According to the police, the deceased woman, who looks like a Terai native, may be 40/45 years old.
DSP Omprakash Khanal, the spokesperson of the district police office, said that BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan was sent for the postmortem of the deceased.
