A doctor has died in Makalu Rural Municipality-2 Dandakhark of Lake Lager Sankhuwasabha.

According to DSP Daksh Kumar Basnet of District Police, 27-year-old Dr. of Tanahun Bhimad Municipality-2 on Saturday morning. Ashish Sigdel has died. It is estimated that he fell at 4200 meters while going to Makalu base camp.

Preparations have been made to bring his body to the district hospital for post-mortem.

Due to remoteness and geographical conditions, the police said that his body can be brought to Khandbari only on Sunday.
