The Ministry of Finance has ensured 350 million budget resources for the reconstruction of Foxingtar bridge connecting Udaipur and Khotang. After almost 7 months, the ministry has ensured the resources for the reconstruction of the bridge that was washed away by the Sunkoshi river flood on October 12th. After 12 years of construction, the bridge was swept away by a flood while the handover was being prepared.

Pashupati Gyawali, Head of Gaighat Diktel Road Plan, said that the construction of the bridge will start soon after the Ministry of Finance ensures the budget. "After the ministry has confirmed the source of the budget, the discussion is now on how to build the bridge," he said, "the work will proceed after the instructions from the road department." It is said that the contract will be opened after the design of the bridge is finalized.

The 120-meter long Sunkosi river bridge connecting Khotang Village-9 Lichkiramche and Udaipur's Rautamai Rural Municipality-5 Ampatar was swept away by the flood, and the Udaipur-Khotang transport service was disrupted for a long time. Due to the slowness of the contractor, the bridge, which was put into operation after 12 years of construction, collapsed within 8 months, and Belibridge was temporarily put into operation from January 7th to be operated in winter and to be removed during rains.

The Gaighat-Diktel road under Everest Highway is a short distance road connecting Khotang and Udaipur.
