A woman has died after falling in Sahidbhoomi rural municipality-7 Pakha village of Dhankuta. According to the police, Kalpana Rai, the 50-year-old wife of local Bhakta Bahadur Rai, died.

Last Friday, Rai, who slipped from the house and fell 50 meters down, was seriously injured and was taken to BP Kerala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan for treatment. The doctor referred him to Virat Nursing Home in Biratnagar for further treatment, but he died on Wednesday evening during treatment, the police said.
