Former Chancellor of Nepal Pragya Pratishthan, Tilvikram Nemwang (Bairagi Kainla) was felicitated in Panchthar on Tuesday.

Kayla was felicitated in a program held in Silauti, a religious area where Falgunanda Lingden, the founder of Kirant religion and the 16th National Vibhuti of Nepal, is located in Falgunanda Rural Municipality 2.

In the program organized by Sangsen, Manghim Seva Samiti Namphungyak Silouti Panchthar, Constituent Assembly member Aindrasundar Nemwang presented a letter of appreciation to him from the seat of a special guest, and the officials of Manghim Seva Samiti congratulated him by wearing a dosalla.

Bairagi Kainla, who was born in Pauwasaratap, Falgunand-3, Panchthar, was felicitated in recognition of his contribution to Nepali and Limbu language and literature along with literary practice and political consciousness, said Ramkumar Nemwang, chairman of the organizer Sangsen Manghim Seva Samiti.

Earlier, Kaila was also felicitated at the Literary Festival organized by Phalgunand Pragya Pratishthan at Falgunand-4 Ranke Bazar and the program held at Saratap Mavi Pauwasaratap.

Born on 25th July 1996 in Falgunand-3 (formerly Pauwasaratap) of Panchthar, Nemwang is a poet of great stature. He has more than a dozen books published in Limbu language, including 'Flowers, Leaves and Patkar', 'Bairagi Kailaka Kavita', 'Blind People and Elephants' in Nepali. 

He became the first chancellor of Nepal Pragya Pratishthan after the establishment of Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal. Bairagi Kainla had earlier provided more than ten and a half plantations of land free of charge to Sangsen Manghim in Silauti. He has also contributed to the social sector of the district.
