One person has died in a Bolero accident in Sotang Rural Municipality. Ward no. 30-year-old Sarita Rai died when the Bolero Jeep No. 3-01-024 Ch 6814, which was going to Juke from 2, fell off the road.
Sarita and her 18-month-old child were injured when the vehicle carrying goods slipped and fell down about 300 meters on Saturday evening.
While taking them to Sotang Hospital for treatment, Sarita died on the way, the police said. Revan Rai, an 18-month-old child, is being treated. The other 2 passengers in the vehicle are safe.
The driver, 43-year-old Prem Rai, is under the custody of the police, according to Sotang, Ela police office.
