7 businessmen have been arrested from Katari in Udaipur with a large quantity of drugs. On Tuesday night, 7 drug dealers were arrested with 10,463 tablets and 100 grams of ganja from Katari Municipality-4 Kanchibazar.

Those arrested are 29-year-old Hari Bahadur Tamang of Katari Municipality-7, 23-year-old Anmol Magar of Ward No-4, 19-year-old Bhakta Bahadur Tamang of Ward No-8, 25-year-old Somakrishna Rai, 20-year-old Aarti Raut, 23-year-old Sharad Kumar Sunuwar and 19-year-old Bikram Sashankar, said DSP Kedarman Dong, information officer of the district police office.


According to the police, they were doing business on the basis of secret information that the prohibited drug market was being trafficked and sold and distributed. The team under the leadership of Police Inspector Bhimalal Oli of the area police office Katari seized two motorcycles, 2 lakh 47 thousand 720 rupees in cash and 6 mobile phones. 


DSP Dong said that the police recovered 5 thousand 912 Spaspen tablets, 4 thousand 431 Trupen tablets and 120 Tapenta tablets from the arrested persons.


They used Q. 1-05-001 p. 7602 and Q. 1-05-001 p. The police also seized the motorcycle number 7497. DSP Dong said that the seven people who were taken under control are being kept at Ella Police Office Katari and further investigation is underway.
