One more refugee, who was going to enter Nepal via Bhutan, India after being deported from the US, has been arrested from Eastern Province.
According to the police, he was arrested from Milan Tung area of Bahundangi near the Nepal-India border located in Mechinagar-4 on Monday night.
He was entering Nepal illegally. When the armed police force stationed at the checkpoint checked, they did not find any documents to reveal his identity. According to the police, he is a 30-year-old Bhutanese citizen, Ashok Gurung, who returned from America.
He has been kept in the custody of Kakadvitta area police office for further investigation.
