A fire broke out in a house in Mahalakshmi Municipality-2 Mulkhark on Tuesday morning. The police said that the house of local Nand Kumar Thapa was damaged by fire.
District Police Spokesperson DSP Omprakash Khanal said that the fire broke out at around 8 am.
A two-storied house with a tin roof made of stone and clay was partially burnt by the fire. It is said that the loss of food, clothing, and wood in the house was about 150,000. The fire was brought under control after an hour on the initiative of the police and locals.
