Inspector General of Armed Police Raju Aryal has directed to proceed with a strategic plan against drug trafficking and addiction through the border area.

Addressing a program organized on Monday on the occasion of the 24th foundation day of the Armed Police Force Nepal No. 1 Barah Bahini Headquarters Sunsari, Aryal said that the security situation of the country will also deteriorate if the youth fall into addiction due to the problem of drugs.

Asserting that the armed police force is working with high importance to reduce the problem of drugs in the border, Aryal directed the security officers under Barah Bahini to work by making a special plan in Koshi province where drugs are a major problem.

Aryal said that the armed police team played an excellent role in controlling and rescuing the fire that occurred at Center Plaza in Itahari on 13th Chaitra, and all the participants will be rewarded and honoured. In the

program, Barah Bahini Headquarters, Barah Bahini Headquarters, Deputy Inspector General of Armed Police, Shambhu Subedi, said that despite limited resources and means, they are working on border security and revenue leakage control. On the occasion of the 24th Foundation Day, Inspector General of Armed Police Aryal honored the associations and organizations that support the Armed Police Force along with the families of heroic national servants and the police personnel who have done excellent work.
