CPN-UML Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali has commented that the killings and attacks on journalists and media houses during the agitation for the return of the king are the product of barbarism and chaos.
He said that the murder of journalist Suresh Rajak, the attack on Kantipur Television and other media houses and the attack on journalists who were collecting news at various places along with Hull Hujjat should be brought to justice.
'Constitution has allowed anyone to express dissatisfaction and opinion freely, but arson, vandalism, murder, hooliganism and chaotic activities in the name of returning the king should be investigated and prosecuted as criminal incidents, not political,' Gyawali said.
Gyawali was of the opinion that the government should investigate and investigate the incidents that took place in various places of Kathmandu on March 15 and bring the culprits to justice.
"All the acts committed by former King Gyanendra Shah's supporters who were excited by his remarks on the 7th of February referring to Democracy Day are criminal activities," said Gyawali, who is also a former minister. Gyawali asked, "If there are so many violent activities in the name of the king, where was the fundamental right of the people?" Gyawali said that he is confident that Durga Prasai, who is leading the crowd who is raising arrogance in the name of
movement, should be immediately arrested and brought to justice.
'It is just an illusion to say that the country will be improved by the crowd led by Prasai . He is an example of ferocity, anarchy and arrogance, once he was a central member of UML, at that time he tried to steal the name of the party for personal gain . "He spoils wherever he goes, it was a mistake of UML to welcome him as a central member," Gyawali said.
Madan Bhandari came to Fidim of Panchthar to inaugurate the convention of Panchthar Foundation.
