Itungna Mavo, a 6-year-old girl resident of Kheseva, Sirijanga Rural Municipality-4, died after drowning in a water tank.
Tarahang Mawo's daughter was found drowning in a water tank plastered with cement, said Durga Khanal, police inspector of the area police office, Telok.
She was found unconscious and was immediately taken to the primary health center. According to the police, the tank was 30 meters away from the house.
District Police Office Deputy Superintendent of Police Ravi Rawal informed that the body has been handed over to the family after completing the necessary legal procedures.
