Two houses were destroyed by fire in the village of Deurali community forest located in Choubise rural municipality-2. According to the police, the houses of Ram Bahadur Pakhreen and Hirendra Niraula of Bazthala in Choubise-4 were burnt down.

Police spokesperson DSP Omprakash Khanal informed that food, clothes, wood and furniture in Pakhreen's house were damaged in the fire to the tune of 6 lakh rupees.

Similarly, Harendra's 2-storied house and shed were damaged in the fire, worth one lakh rupees, according to the police. The fire was brought under control only on Thursday morning. On the other hand, the fire that broke out in Tarebhir of Sangurigarhi rural municipality on Wednesday has been brought under control with the help of fire brigade from Dandabazar area police station and Dharan sub-metropolitan municipality.
