The newly constructed building of police station has been inaugurated in Rawabensi rural municipality-2 Kharpa. The newly constructed building was inaugurated by Koshi Police Chief, Deputy Inspector General of Police Rajan Adhikari on Sunday.
Deputy Superintendent of Police of District Police Office Khotang Pratik Bista said that the building was constructed at a cost of 2 crore 95 lakh 32 thousand. A police station was established in the old building of Kharpa village in the year 2069.
The newly constructed two-and-a-half storey building has 11 rooms including head office room, women and men detention room with floor toilet facilities along with communication rooms, women and men barracks with floor toilet, head of office Awash, Marojanjan hall. The
program was attended by Fatik Kumar Shrestha, Chairman of Rawabensi Rural Municipality, Vice Chairman Kaushila Gurung, Chief District Officer Narahari Ghimire, Heads of all security agencies of the district and others.
