Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality has distributed cotton to the farmers. According to the Municipality, Ranga was distributed to make the city's farmers self-employed to make the municipality self-sufficient in Ranga meat.

Deputy head of the municipality, Wisan Rai, said that about 200 Ranga purchased from Terai were distributed from the budget of the financial year 2081/82. According to him, 75 percent of the city and 25 percent of the farmers have been distributed at a cost of 62 lakhs.

Under this, Rai says that 1.6 million worth of Ranga has been distributed in Ward No. 3 Bamrang, 7 million in Ward No. 4 Khalle, 12 million in Ward No. 5 Longyang, 3 million in Ward No. 7 Dorpachiuridanda and 850,000 in Ward No. 15 Vijaykhark. "In the first phase, around 200 rangas have been distributed, now 150 will be distributed," Rai said, "The rangas have been distributed to make the farmers self-sufficient in their income, fertilizer and meat."
