A woman died on Saturday morning after being struck by lightning.

45-year-old Dilkumari Rai of Kepilasgarhi rural municipality-7 Sungdel died.

According to Police Inspector Mohan Pokharel, spokesperson of District Police Office Khotang, he died on the spot when lightning struck him while picking up goods in the yard after it rained around 4:30 on Saturday morning.
